Site History: The Graphics Vortex was first created Summer 2006. This, the fourth version, is the first to feature Challenges, due to my new-found love of them!
My History: Creating graphics since 2004 with Adobe Photoshop Elements, switching to Photoshop CS2 in 2007. Started mostly with LotR graphics - at the Council of Elrond (MirimeElessar). By 2006 after the relaunch in 2005 I was only making Doctor Who graphics. In June 2006 I joined TheSnitch as a graphics designer and became Head of Graphic Design - now relocated to TheDailySnitcher. Outside Photoshop my interests lie in Physics (mainly astrophysics and theoretical cosmology), which may be guessed from my links!

Favourites
Music: Glam Rock (David Bowie, Roxy Music, T.Rex, Sweet).
Books: Too many - I work in a bookshop! But definitely anything by Neil Gaiman or Richard P. Feynman.
Films: Breakfast on Pluto, 2001: A Space Odyssey, For All Mankind.
